The Cattle Barn Wedding in Cle Elum, WA // Breanna & Brent

About a year ago I photographed a very special wedding day with Breanna & Brent! (Remember, I’m bad at this blogging thing. Eventually I’ll get a hang of it and post things from the current year.) Honestly though, they’re one of the most rad couples I’ve been able to work with. To this day I still follow their outdoor adventures of them camping, dirt biking and living life to the fullest on the daily. Let it be known that their wedding day was no less than that and it was one full of laughter, smiles and genuine joy. If you’re familiar with the Cle Elum area than you’ll know that their wedding venue at The Cattle Barn was the perfect place to host their ceremony and reception. Sitting in the Swauk Creek Valley on a 1,000 acre working cattle and horse ranch this venue offers a unique rustic wedding experience. The ranch house in which they got ready in was built in the late 1800’s. It’s just east of Snoqualmie Pass so there’s a 360-degree view of beautiful landscape only an hour and half from Seattle. Overnight stay with tents and campers is welcome at this venue so it’s also a perfect place for a weekend party!

On this day, and on any other day, the location of The Cattle Barn had a nice overall breeze as the day warmed up for their first look and bridal party photos. Then following the morning events they had a perfect outdoor ceremony overlooking the west back towards Seattle. It was pretty clear that we would have a golden hour sunset and that certainly drew us to run uphill in the evening for some of those picture perfect images. Back into the barn they danced and partied the night away with friends and family as they ended the day as husband and wife in grand celebration.

With that all said please grab a drink, some food and take a walk-through of their wedding day with this massive post of images that I’m sure you’ll enjoy. Congrats again Breanna and Brent, it was an honor to be the photographer on your big day!
